To meet the special requirements of this electronic drum kit,we’ve worked in close co-operation with DW to develop specificDWe Hardware.
Hardware is of major importance when using an electronictrigger system; it all comes down to stability and vibrations. If your hardware is too light it will cause false triggering.
The DWe hardware includes vibration isolating feet andcustom cymbal mounts to prevent the cymbals from spinningaround.
GEWA has developed specific mesh heads with REMO USAthat reproduce a realistic feeling rebound when compared to their legendary Ambassador heads. The material for this is produced exclusively for GEWA and is manufactured by REMO USA to create the True Rebound 2-ply mesh heads.

Our goal was to create the same authentic feel and vibration behaviour as an acoustic cymbal. The GEWA G9 series cymbal pads are, in terms of dimensions and mass, modelled on the Paiste 2002 Cymbal Series to provide the drummer with a more realistic feel.

GEWA Drums' headquarters are in Adorf in the Vogtland region of Saxony, Germany. From here we work with our partners in Germany, Europe and all over the world.
